The Domaine du Rayol is open every day, all year round (except for 25th December).

OPENING TIMES

  • January, February, March, November and December: 9.30 am – 5.30 pm
    Guided tour at 2.30 pm (length: 1h30)
  • April, May, June, September: 9.30 am – 6.30 pm
    Guided tours at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm (length: 1h30)
  • October: 9.30 am – 6.30 pm
    Guided tour at 2.30 pm (length: 1h30)
  • July, August: 9.30 am – 7.30 pm
    Guided tours at 10.30 am (length: 1h30), 2.30 pm and 4.00 pm (length: 1h15)

The Gardeners’ Café-Restaurant is open every day (except December 25th), from midday to 2.30 pm for lunch, or for a gourmet break during the day (from 10.30 am up to one hour before the Gardens close). Please note: exceptionally, the restaurant will be closed on Thursday 21st March 2024 at lunch time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Gardeners’ Bookshop is open every day from 9.30 am until the closure of the Gardens.
The Plant nursery is open every Friday afternoon from 2.30 pm until 15 minutes before the Gardens close. Gardening factsheets are available at reception.

The Gardeners’ Bookshop and the Plant nursery are free to access, regardless of entry to the Garden.
The Gardeners’ Café-Restaurant is reserved for visitors to the Garden.

In case of Meteo France warning     Strong winds / Rain-Flood / Thunderstorm
– Orange warning: The garden and the restaurant are closed. The reception, the bookshop and the plant nursery remain open.
– Red warning: The Domaine du Rayol is closed.

To make the most of your visit to the Domaine du Rayol, we advise you to avoid busy days:
– Easter long weekend: Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and Monday 10th of April 2023
– Labour Day long weekend: Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of April, Monday 1st of May 2023
– Victory in Europe Day long weekend: Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th and Monday 8th of May 2023
– Ascension Day long weekend: Thursday 18th, Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of May 2023
– Pentecost long weekend: Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th and Monday 29th of May 2023

Please note: Pets are not allowed (even on the lead).


ENTRANCE FEES

Entrance to the Gardens, with or without a guided tour:

– Adults: €14
– Concessions* (children aged 6-17, students, unemployed, disabled person): €10
– Children under 6: free

Family ticket (2 adults + 1 or more children aged 6-17) : €35
Free booklet (in French) provided on request on your arrival at reception, for children aged 4-6 or 7-12 years old.

Annual subscription to the Gardens (1 year’s unlimited access to the Domaine du Rayol):
– Adults: €35
– Children aged 6-17: €13

Guided tours are in French only (except for groups with prior booking).
Free audioguide in French, English and German.

The Café des Jardiniers restaurant is open for bookings on concert evenings (set menu €39).

Payment accepted in cash, by cheque, bank card.
* A reduction is available on production of proof of entitlement.
