An agreement was drawn up, setting out the terms and aims of the partnership between the Conservatoire du Littoral and the Association.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some facts and figures which show the Domaine du Rayol Association\u2019s achievements over a period of almost thirty years; today, it is 90% self-financing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1.8 million visitors since it opened in 1989.<\/li>\n<li>90,000 visitors every year.<\/li>\n<li>30 staff employed throughout the year.<\/li>\n<li>Open 364 days per year.<\/li>\n<li>Qualit\u00e9 Tourisme and Jardin Remarquable listings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Board of Directors<\/h2>\n<p>As in any association, the general assembly is sovereign. It meets at least every year. It elects from among itself a board of directors, half of which are renewed every two years. Here are the members of the Board of Directors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fran\u00e7ois AUBERT<\/li>\n<li>Christian DESPLATS<\/li>\n<li>Andr\u00e9 DEL MONTE<\/li>\n<li>Jean-Laurent FELIZIA<\/li>\n<li>Guy HELBERT<\/li>\n<li>Catherine COURT<\/li>\n<li>Patrick CHATRIEUX<\/li>\n<li>Jean-Pierre CLARAC<\/li>\n<li>C\u00e9cile GRAS<\/li>\n<li>Joseph CHAFEY (as a member of the Association des Amis du Rayol Canadel)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>The Office<\/h2>\n<p>In order to monitor the implementation of the objectives, the Board of Directors elects an office from among its members. This meets at least once a month with the director of the Association. Its members are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pr\u00e9sident : Andr\u00e9 DEL MONTE<\/li>\n<li>Vice-pr\u00e9sident : Fran\u00e7ois AUBERT<\/li>\n<li>Secr\u00e9taire : Jean-Laurent FELIZIA<\/li>\n<li>Tr\u00e9sori\u00e8re : Catherine COURT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>The team<\/h2>\n<p>Furthermore, the site is managed by a team made up of 25 permanent employees of the association, led by Sybille BERNARD. From its creation, the Domaine du Rayol association was asked to find most of its financing. Today, the association is 85% self-financing. The supplement is provided by the State, the Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur Region, the Var Department and the Rayol Town Hall. It allows us to continue to keep <em>Le Jardin des M\u00e9diterran\u00e9es<\/em> alive, a garden in perpetual motion. It is a special time much appreciated between Gilles CL\u00c9MENT and the technical team, and in particular the gardeners.
